Here is how the prospects performed in the game yesterday: Chris Valaika went 1-3. Henry Rodriguez went 0-2. Didi Gregorius went 2-2 with a run and a triple. Daryl Jones went 2-2 with an RBI. Neftali Soto went 0-3. Denis Phipps went 2-2 with a run. Ryan LaMarre went 0-2. Todd Frazier went 1-3 with an RBI, double and a run. Donald Lutz went 0-1. Kristopher Negron went 0-1. Mike Costanzo went 1-2 with a solo HR. Nice rebound after the game Wednesday with 3 total hits. Tom Nichols has up a first baseman preview over at the Dayton Dragons website. The article looks at Sean Buckley, Robert Maddox and Nick O’Shea. Buckley is reportedly being looked at as a potential mover to first base after some struggles in his first season defensively.
