Back in 1994, when Ryan Klesko started in the league, it was really exciting for me, because his name is Ryan and I was 11. There weren’t many famous folks named Ryan at the time, and it was a big deal for me, as it would be for most kids. Kids are sort of dumb. Nevertheless, I was always a little bit of a Klesko fan even though he played for the Braves (we played them in the World Series!) and he reciprocated by being an above average player, proving that not all Ryans struck out all the time and struggled with fly balls. I HAD BAD DEPTH PERCEPTION, OK?! Klesko was seemingly one of the good guys in the game, and most of the pictures of him involve baseball or charity, like the function he was pictured at with his wife (nice work, Klesko) as seen above. Another area that he gains attention is via his hobby.
