Fightin' Marlins:
Major league outfielder Gabe Gross has officially decided to retire from the game of baseball. The 31-year old outfielder stated that, “[He] wasn’t that into it anymore.”
Gross retires after signing a minor league contract Sunday.
The left-handed hitter batted .239 lifetime with 40 homers and 186 RBI. Gross has played seven seasons in the majors but never really found his stride. Its sad that his career had to end the way it did.
