Diamondbacks Central:
In their first four games of the spring, the Diamondbacks pitching has been up and down so far. That was once again the case in their 6-5 loss against the Rockies yesterday.
Armando Galarraga struggled in Diamondbacks debut. In his two innings, the right-hander gave up three hits and two runs. The one good thing is that he didn’t allow a walk. Barry Enright then came in and threw two very impressive innings allowing only one hit and striking out a batter.
Top prospect Jarrod Parker was rocky in the three outs that he recorded. He allowed three walks, but showed some moxie for a youngster with getting out of a jam to not allow a run in the inning. David Hernandez followed up with a scoreless inning, but Esmerling Vazquez and Kam Mickolio really struggled in the late innings to make it difficult for Arizona to make a comeback.
After struggling for the better part of the game, the offense showed some life in the last three innings scoring four runs, but their comeback fell a bit...
