Pete Abe has the news. No surprises there, Aceves and Hughes will remain in the bullpen. Until the calvalry arrives, the Yanks are going to have to hope he can hold down the fort.

• In five starts against the Tigers A.J. Burnett is 3-1 with a 8.03 ERA. In 24.2 innings he's allowed 22 ER on 29 hits, walked 14 and struck out 25. In his last five starts he's 4-1, with a 1.34 ERA.
• 23-year-old Luke French will be making his third major league start. So far he's 1-0 with a 1.93 ERA.
• The Yankees are 16-5 against AL Central teams this season.
