The Red Sox had put tickets on sale for select April and May games back on December 1st, they announced today that tickets for most of the rest of the season will go on sale Saturday, January 26th at 10 a.m. This will include all home games except Opening Day and Yankee games. Opportunities for Opening Day, Yankee games, as well as Green Monster seats, and the right field roof deck tickets will be determined by a random drawing at a later time as always.
The way I see it, you've got 3 options to get tickets at true face value on January 26th.
Option 1) Pull the tents, sleeping bags, and lawn chairs out of the garage and head down to Yawkey Way sometime that Friday afternoon beforehand. Spend the night under the moon and the stars along with whatever else that may be crawling around. Don't forget to bring something or somebody to keep you warm. Don't worry about food, Larry Lucchino will probably pass out slices of pizza as a good will gesture while the news crews are there.
