Found August 23, 2012 on Laugh At Sports:
After Tim Lincecum delivered a called third strike, Hector Sanchez thought is was the third out.  Sanchez proceeded to walk to the dugout as if the inning was over.  Fortunately for Sanchez he's not the most embarrassed Giant right now (that's write, Melky).  Baseball players occasionally do this, but it's rare to see the catcher forget how many outs there are.The whole stadium seems to have a laugh.Watch the clip here:Your browser does not support iframes.

Giants done with Melky Cabrera?

Melky Cabrera is currently serving his 50-game suspension for violating MLB's drug policy. Are the Giants completely done with him?

SF Giants Rumors: Brooms Are Out, Melky T-Shirt Giveaway, Injury News, Etc.

Last night was another big win for the San Francisco Giants against the Dodgers. The win pushes the Giants lead in the NL West to 1.5 over the Dodgers and 6 games over the D-Backs. The G-men are looking for the sweep tonight with Matt Cain on the mound. Outfielder Angel Pagan came up big last night with 3 hits, 1 RBI and 1 run scored. Buster Posey drove in 2 runs last night while...

Giants moving on quickly, winning

Outside the Polo Grounds Pub and Grill, in the shadow of AT&T Park, the sign reads, "No More Melk, but Plenty of Beer." Inside the San Francisco Giants' clubhouse, the mood isn't quite that frivolous. But what did you expect the Giants to do after losing Melky Cabrera to a 50-game suspension, quit? The Giants don't operate like that. Baseball doesn'...

Lincecum shows he hasn't forgotten how to pitch

San Francisco Giants fans remember how pitiful Tim Lincecum was in August 2010 (0-5, 7.82 ERA) and how wonderful he was that September (5-1, 1.94). And October (4-1, 2.43 in the postseason). Tuesday, Lincecum made a mid-August start, far better than what he showed in any start from two Augusts ago, and now the question is whether it's the start of a trend. He gave up a...

Freeman's homers not enough vs. Giants.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Angel Pagan had a go-ahead triple among his four hits to help back Ryan Vogelsong's first victory in three starts, and the San Francisco Giants beat the Atlanta Braves 5-3 on Friday night for their fifth straight win. Pablo Sandoval hit an RBI double and also scored the tying run for the NL West-leading Giants on a wild pitch in the third, and Buster Posey...

Giants sweep Dodgers in Los Angeles

Matt Cain pitched seven strong innings, Joaquin Arias homered and drove in a career-high five runs, and the San Francisco Giants beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 8-4 on Wednesday night to extend their NL West lead to 21/2 games with their first three-game sweep at Dodger Stadium in five years. The Giants arrived in Los Angeles trailing the Dodgers by a half-game and they leave with...

Best Series Ever

Didn’t that all seem a little too easy? The Giants scored in the first inning of the first game of this series, and never gave up their lead. They were never winning by a significant margin, but the way Madison Bumgarner was pitching, even two runs of support was enough to feel comfortable. Heck, even after Sergio Romo coughed up a solo homer to make it a one-run game, Javier...

Dodgers fall further behind Giants in NL West

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Matt Cain pitched seven strong innings, Joaquin Arias homered and drove in a career-high five runs, and the San Francisco Giants beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 8-4 on Wednesday night to extend their NL West lead to 2 games with their first three-game sweep at Dodger Stadium in five years. The Giants arrived in Los Angeles trailing the Dodgers by a half-game and...

Braves' 9th-inning rally too late to top Giants

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Barry Zito took a three-hit shutout into the ninth inning, Hector Sanchez's two-run double highlighted a four-run fifth and the San Francisco Giants rolled past the Atlanta Braves 5-2 on Thursday night for their fourth straight win. Fresh off a sweep at the rival Los Angeles Dodgers, the NL West leaders stayed hot on a chilly and fog-filled night along...

Fantasy Baseball: Examining Values of PED Players

As Melky Cabrera has reminded us, we can’t believe that everything we see on the baseball diamond is legit. As a fan of the game, it’s extremely frustrating, I know. If you’re a fan of the American League team that wins the pennant, I wouldn’t blame you if your anger doesn’t come out until October, as the All-Star Game MVP had a lot to do with the National...

Baseball's PED Climate Makes It Hard to Believe Players Enjoying Breakout Seasons Always Doing It Clean (Video)

In light of Melky Cabrera and Bartolo Colon testing positive for performance-enhacing drugs, it's tough for baseball fans to not think the worst of any players enjoying suspicious amounts of success this season. Not every player deserves to be believed guilty until proven innocent, but unfortunately, that's a reality that many will have to face as the positive tests continue...

Putting the “Legitimate” in Legitimately Dumb

What would MLB do if it turned out that Melky Cabrera was “legitimately” using PEDs?  For the same matter, what if Barry Bonds came out and told us that he had been using the “cream” and the “clear” but it was legitimate so we didn’t need to worry about it?  I’m pretty sure that the fans and MLB would call bullsh*t on both of them. By now I’m pretty sure you know...

The Majors LIVE 116: How many players in the MLB are using PEDs?

With the 50 game suspension of Giants OF Melky Cabrera for PEDs, BALCO founder Victor Conte believes there’s many more players still involved with doping in Major League Baseball. In this episode of The Majors LIVE, Adam, Josh and Nick discuss whether or not baseball still has a big steroid problem along with the following: Augusta breaking an 80 year tradition.
