With two weeks to go until the start of the regular season, the Giants finally may be close to fielding an opening day lineup for the first time in spring training. "This coming weekend we'll have them all out there, knock on wood," said manager Bruce Bochy said Tuesday. Marco Scutaro played his first game of the spring Monday after being beset with back problems for the past month. Left fielder Michael Morse has been out for a week with a calf strain and center fielder Angel Pagan has only played once this week because of back stiffness. Scutaro, giving a personal assessment of how he bounced back from playing in his first live outing, said he was feeling "pretty good." Scutaro took batting practice and infield at Scottsdale Stadium but did not play Tuesday. Bochy said it might be possible Scutaro could get some at-bats Wednesday in a minor league game, but that plan was scratched. Pagan said he's still feeling tightness in his lower back but also went through workouts and at one point during batting practice, launched a long home run that glanced off the roof of the right field pavilion at Scottsdale, drawing applause from teammates. "I'm trying to work through it," Pagan said. "I'll be ready for opening day." Morse also took batting practice and appeared to be moving well. He is ticketed to return to the lineup Thursday.
