San Francisco Giants closer Brian Wilson will begin throwing off a mound in the next few days, according to the San Jose Mercury News.Wilson arrived at the Giants' conditioning facility in Arizona last week to get a jump on his throwing program. He was shut down because of recurring elbow soreness at the end of last season."We're working on his range of motion in his lower body, his flexibility, and of course strengthening the elbow and shoulder," said Giants trainer Dave Groeschner.Wilson had Tommy John surgery to reconstruct his elbow in 2003.
