Despite only allowing one run in today’s game against the Mariners, the Giants’ bats were quiet today in the 1-0 loss. Ryan Vogelsong was the starting pitcher, pitching 3.2 innings, and allowing the game’s only run on just 2 hits. All in all, the Giants have been performing well in Spring Training and we’re seeing some good things from our guys, particularly Pablo Sandoval, Mark DeRosa and Brandon Belt.
Below is the current standings for both the Cactus and Grapefruit Leagues. As you can see, the Giants are having the league’s best spring in terms of win/losses. Let’s hope that continues.
