Count me in the column that likes this one more than the Suppan deal. Then again, that’s the equivilant of saying you like getting your balls mashed in a vice over having them diced in a blender – so who’s really counting, right?
The Giants rotation could be a bit taxed from the general heavy workload/high stress innings of last season in addition to the added postseason starts, so it appears Sabean is trying to find his cheap insurance policy with the Suppan/Banks deals. And by cheap, I mean crappy. And by crappy, I mean ****.
