Gio Gonzalez threw what might have been the worst pitch ever in yesterday’s game, and it’s sure to be a challenge to Barry Zito’s epic fail pitch from earlier in the season.

Here’s Zito’s fail pitch, which will admittedly be hard to beat. However, Gio has the reaction advantage with the tip of the cap to a laughing/cheering crowd and lying prone dead in the grass for a few seconds after doing whatever it is that he was doing.
