Good, Bad and Ugly From Cincinnati Reds' 4-2 Loss to San Francisco Giants
© Kareem Elgazzar/The Enquirer / USA TODAY NETWORK

The Reds lost to the Giants 4-2 on Monday night. Here's the good, bad and ugly from the loss:

The Good

Frankie Montas looked amazing in his outing, allowing just one run in four innings and finishing with five strikeouts. It was his best performance of the spring. The Reds Opening Day starter looks ready for the season.

The Bad

The Reds finished with just two runs on nine hits. They finished 0-for-11 with runners in scoring position. That was the difference in the game.

The Ugly

The injury bug continues to bite the Reds. Matt McLain had shoulder soreness and was removed from the lineup before the game started, although it doesn't appear serious.

Jake Fraley left the game after being hit by a pitch. It looks like they are both OK, but hopefully the Reds can get rid of the injury bug before the start of the regular season.
