A fellow student a few bits ahead of me decided to honor the New York Yankees. I decided it would be funny to honor the Sox right afterwards….apparently doing so at a predominantly Long Island-er populated school was a poor choice!
A.B. That’s the definition of a power move. Kid had a lot of balls to pull that stunt in Yankee territory. Everyone boos, your parents laugh and it’s all smiles and giggling at first. But anyone who has ever graduated college knows that graduation night parties are the alcoholic step brother of college parties. Booze flows like the salmon of Capistrano. Kids loose their minds and things go downhill real fast. The last thing you want is to be ‘that kid who honored the Red Sox’ at graduation. Two black eyes is not a good look to start your summer internship.
Sidenote – Predominantly Long Islanders? Forget everything I just said, Lax Bros and Hipsters are harmless.
