Miami Marlins manager Ozzie Guillen is looking forward to seeing Adam Greenberg make his first major league appearance since 2005, but Guillen is planning to play Tuesday's game to win. That means he will choose the most right opportunity to get Greenberg in the game without jeopardizing the Marlins' chances of winning. Guillen said Greenberg most likely will be used in the middle of the game as a pinch-hitter, getting just one at-bat. He will not play the field and he might not run the bases if he reaches. Guillen originally toyed with the idea of starting Greenberg in left field and having him lead off the bottom of the first inning. But Guillen said he was told to give him one at-bat. "I will figure out how to play him," Guillen said, "but if the game is on the line, I'm going to manage it to win one game." Greenberg was hit in the head by a pitch in 2005 in his first and only major league at-bat, for the Chicago Cubs against the Florida Marlins. He signed a one-day contract to play Tuesday after a seven-year struggle in the minor and independent leagues while battling vertigo. "I'm not going to pinch-hit him for the pitcher just because," Guillen said. "If I need a base hit to take the lead or something then I will figure it out another inning. I'm going to manage my game to win the game."
