Wednesday night’s Mariners-White Sox game was an extra inning affair of crazy proportions. For 13 innings the two teams remained scoreless, and then in the top of the 14th Chicago exploded for five runs, only to have Seattle equal the feat in the bottom of the inning to tie the game up, thanks to a Kyle Seager grand slam, the first in MLB history to tie a game in extra-innings. Unfortunately for the Mariners and their fans the White Sox plated two more runs in the 17th to come away with the 7-5 victory. Getting back to Seager’s extra-inning blast, when the ball landed in the right field seats there was a scurry of fans gunning for the prized souvenir, including one grown man who was so dead set on grabbing that baseball that he ran over a little kid in the process. That’s right, a man trampled a small child for a baseball, because ‘Murica. Here’s the video of Seager’s grand slam. Pay close attention to the douche in the white shirt and cargo shorts as he trucks the poor kid in the blue shirt (via It’s Always Sunny in Detroit)… And in GIF form (via @cjzero) That’s some Dane Cook level douchebaggery right there.
