Monkey with a Halo:
The August 13th, 2013 edition of daily news for the Los Angeles Angels including Trout wants PED users banned for life, tension between Scioscia and Dipoto and much more...

The Story: Ken Rosenthal once again reports that there is tension between Jerry Dipoto and Mike Scioscia.

As if the Los Angeles Angels don't have enough problems, wait until after the 2014 season, when outfielder Mike Trout becomes eligible for arbitration for the first time.
Trout should easily surpass Philadelphia Phillies first baseman Ryan Howard, who set the record for a first-time eligible in 2008, when an arbitrator awarded him $10 million.
If you think it's too early...

Over in the American League, we're hearing the safe refrain we did last year: "Trout or Cabrera?" But with each team in completely different places in the standings, and Cabrera's overall offensive numbers...
Baseball seems to be becoming more of a young man’s game, with more and more prospects being called up everyday, as well as the comeuppance of young stars like Manny Machado, Bryce Harper, Mike Trout, and Yasiel Puig, who should all be in college. However, there are still some old-timers who are not only sticking around, but putting up big enough numbers to be relevant in baseball...
