Rays Index:
Marc Topkin reports that the Rays activated Gabe Kapler from the DL following tonight’s game. To make room for Kapler, the Rays designated Hank Blalock for assignment, in all likelihood ending his brief stint with the Rays.
Blalock hit .254 with just 1 home run in 26 games (63 at bats) with the Rays.
