Here I Am

I was able to watch the Tigers/Orioles game last night on my brand new, lightning-fast internet connection out here in Connecticut. I’m still getting settled out here, but it looks like I’ll be able to keep up with the Tigers and hopefully, with this site. I have a new job out here, working as a teacher/counselor at a boarding school. I live in a dormitory with another teacher and 10 high school juniors. I am in training out here until August 21, and then start teaching full-time once school starts in September. The tricky part with this site is that I work every other weekend and only get two weeknights off per week. At all other times, I’m responsible for students. So, I’ll do my best to keep up with the site and will post as often as I can with this new and busy schedule. I nearly had a heart-attack last night when Fernando Rodney had to face Luke Scott in a tie game. I was about 90 percent sure Scott would take him deep. Nice win for the Tigers, as they s...
