When we last checked in with Jayson Werth this offseason, he was spotted at the Apple Store at Ted Lerner's Mall at Tyson's Corner VA getting his broken iPad fixed in October, and at a Caps game in Caps gear in December. In the photo above (posted by @LghtsOnLghtsOff on Twitter last week) Jayson Werth can be seen lifting weights, under caption "Jayson Werth loves him some #LightsOn", apparently during a visit to Lights On/Lights Off company headquarters in NY. From the company's Facebook page: Now, we're not exactly what Lights On/Lights Off is -- according to its Twitter account, "L.O.L.O is an elite two-part nutraceutical system that enhances focus and performance during work/sport, and provides deep, undisturbed recovery at night." -- or what Jayson Werth's relationship is to the company...but here's to hoping whatever it is helps Werth to not suck for the remaining six years of his contract with the Nats. Here's Werth posi...

Believe it or not, there is a Jayson Werth 2011 Highlight reel

...and even more surprisingly, it lasts longer than 30 seconds. In fact, it clocks in at a hearty 4:37. There it is, above, via TrueYankeeForever. Strangely enough, we're having a hard time recalling any of these highlights, save for Werth's line drive HR off fat Joe Blanton and the Phillies. But they happened, those highlights. Now, thanks to a Twitpic upload last night, you now get to hate brother Bryan just as much. Bryan writes, My new ride!! What do y’all think? #GREENonGREEN. Well, you want an honest opinion? It looks like perfect...

Bryce Harper Named His Puppy ‘Swag’

The cute little puppy pictured above belongs to Washington Nationals super-prospect, Bryce Harper. Harper apparently got the puppy as a Christmas gift, and he shared a picture of the rascal via Twitter. Harper also said he named the chocolate lab “Swag.” The same guy who blows kisses to opposing pitchers after hitting home runs would also name his dog Swag. Such a Bryce Harper...
