Milwaukee Brewers closer Trevor Hoffman went on the DL on Monday, retroactive to March 27, according to MLB.com.  Hoffman has been dealing with a strained right oblique muscle near his rib cage for the past couple of weeks. It looks like he will miss at least the team’s first four regular season games.  According to Hoffman, he is seeing progress, but feels there is no need to rush back and provide a risk of a greater set back later on in the season. "Two weeks in the middle of the season is going to feel a heck of a lot longer than the last two weeks of Spring Training, even though this has been frustrating. It would be difficult to watch games go by," says Hoffman.
