Unbeknownst to this old fart, there is something called “Throwback Thursday” on that newfangled, highfalutin Instagram thingamjobber, where folks upload photos of themselves from when they were not only young at heart, but young in age as well. Apparently, Colorado Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki’s love for “interesting” hairstyles (see above) began at a young age, as a “Throwback Thursday” photo has been uploaded of him as a wee lad sporting an absolutely glorious mullet. Via the Official Instagram account of the Colorado Rockies: Wow. Would you get a look at that? Are the tips frosted? Crazy. Although it does help explain why Katy Perry’s “Firework” and Justin Bieber’s “Baby” have been among the songs he has used for at-bat music. I don’t know how it explains it, it just does. Shine on you mulleted diamond, Troy Tulowitzki, and let your freak hair flag fly. [Cut4] The post Holy mullet, Batman! Troy Tulowitzki’s childhood haircut is fantastic (photo) appeared first on Sportress of Blogitude.
