Alfredo Aceves shut the Phillies down in his spot start, 6 inning outing. The Sox got huge production  in the 9-3 win from Ellsbury, Pedroia, Ortiz, Napoli, Drew, and Salty. Then, Cliff Lee happened to the Red Sox last night. This time Laser Show: Dustin Pedroia Pedroia was hot before Cliff Lee took the mound. I don't think Lee was enough to throw his offensive game off. Pedroia and the rest of the Sox are not going to have an easy time in Philly, but it will be easier than Lee. David Ortiz will also do well in the one game he participates in. Pitch Around: Ben Revere Revere had a pair of hits in the two games at Fenway and looked awesome in the field. There is nothing they can do about him in the field, but Sox pitching have to keep him off the base paths. Make him swing at pitches out of the zone Don't Fall Behind: Both starters The offense cannot let what Cliff Lee did to them get in their heads. This offense can bounce back, and will have better opportunities to do so. How we see it goin' down I have a lot of confidence in the Sox, but I am still not sure if they can take both games in Philly. I am still not convinced that Lackey is going to pitch well consistently, so I'll give the first game to the Phillies.
