Last time

The Rays and Sox split a two game series at the Trop last week. Hellickson held the Red Sox to one run and the Bullpen finished the job in the Rays 2-1 victory in game 1. Clay Buchholz pitched is best game of the season, but Hellickson one-upped him.

The Red Sox won game 2 behind a great Cody Ross performance. Ross went 2-for-3, with a home run and drove in 4 of the Sox' 5 runs.

This time

Laser Show: Adrian Gonzalez

I am just taking a guess here and hoping he finally breaks out. The show is long overdue and we are all hungry for some Adrian Gonzalez home runs. This is a tough pitching staff, but Gonzo has the ability to be their nightmare, we just haven't seen it yet this season.
Pitch Around: Luke Scott

He didn't do much in the last series other than a sac fly.  He is just a power threat, so Sox pitching should be able to handle him easily. I hate the guy and, once again, wouldn't mind seeing a couple high HBP.

Don't Fall Behind: All 3 starters

The Sox are again going up against a tough pitching staff. The Red Sox have never seen Alex Cobb, making him a mystery for the Sox. We know all too well what Price and Hellickson can do. The Sox may have to break out of their comfort zone and play some small ball to get to these guys.

How we see it goin' down

The Red Sox have been beating some very good teams and are coming off a great confidence booster with a series win in Baltimore. We are going to see some good pitching performances this series, except from Clay Buchholz. I'm going to give the Rays Sunday, but the Sox will be able to squeak out the first two behind Lester and Beckett.
