Hunter Pence injured in battle with door

Pence and his teammates could laugh a bit after the Astros sophomore outfielder spent part of the night in a local emergency room here getting stitches for the lacerations he suffered in the accident at his apartment. Pence said he was preparing to go into hot tub with a friend outside his apartment when he decided to go to the bathroom first. At that point, he had left the door open. Before he headed back, though, he said his friend had shut it.
