They do things differently in the South. The Huntsville Stars, the Brewers’ Double-A affiliate, have announced that July 3 will be “2nd Amendment Night” at Joe W. Davis Stadium in Huntsville, Ala. All card-holding NRA members will be granted free admission to the ballpark, and the festivities will the raffling off of gift certificates to Larry’s Pistol and Pawn. An advertisement for the event posted on the team’s Facebook page caused a stir among the sports blogging committee, prompting the Stars to clarify via their Twitter account that no actual guns would be given away during the game. 2A Night features a raffle from Larry's Pistol and Pawn.
