Ian Kinsler falls behind in race for All-Star spot

Rangers second baseman Ian Kinsler fell behind Detroit's Brandon Inge in the latest results released today of the online voting for the 2009 All-Star Game Sprint Final Vote contest. The 33rd and final spot on the American League All-Star team comes down to fan votes online. Kinsler and Inge have flip-flopped spots the last few days with Inge edging in front with less than 24 hours left in the voting. Inge has a lead of nine percent. Fans have until 3 p.m. Dallas time on Thursday to vote. You can vote for Kinsler by clicking here. The Rangers have also added incentives for those that vote for Kinsler, including a suite for 20 at the Rangers game with the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday, July 21 at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington or an All-Star package featuring autographed bats from Josh Hamilton, Ian Kinsler, and Michael Young.
