It was more common sense on the Yankees’ part… this off-season. I wish they would of known that before the season started in 2010. If they did, I’m sure they would of had a better option at DH in  2010.

Nick Johnson is always hurt. When the Yankees picked up Nick Johnson last year, I was pretty furious. I told my family that he’s going to get hurt and guaranteed it. If you look at his career stats, he’s always hurt. Here’s another guarantee I have. No matter which team he plays for next year, he will get hurt again. It’s his nature. He will frustrate another team and then that team will drop him. Nick Johnson is a good player, when he’s not hurt.

I know the Yankees want Kerry Wood back but he’ll most likely be a closer for another team in 2011. I like the job he did in 2010.

Lance Berkman wasn’t bad but the Yankees didn’t pick his option up either. I’m wondering what might of been if the Yankees had Lance Berkman at DH to start the year instead of Nick Johnson. While the Yankees didn’t pick up Berkman’s option, they also traded Mark Melancon, August 1st for Berkman. Not sure how that plays out.
