The Cleveland Indians placed designated hitter Travis Hafner on the 15-day disabled list Monday due to a strained right foot.
Hafner was injured during Sunday's loss to Detroit when he was hobbled while trying to return to first base in a rundown.
The 34-year-old Hafner is batting .282 with 11 homers and 49 RBIs in an injury-plagued season.
To fill his slot on the roster, the Indians recalled reliever Josh Judy from Triple-A Columbus.
