The Cleveland Indians have signed Mark Reynolds to a one-year deal worth $6mm, Brittany Ghiroli of MLB.com reports. Jon Heyman of CBS Sports adds the the Indians will put Lonnie Chisenhall at the hot corner which would seem to eliminate them from pursuing Kevin Youkilis.
Reynolds found success after moving to first base from third this last season on the defensive side of the ball for the Orioles. On the offensive side of things, he hit .221/.335/.429 with 23 home runs and 69 RBIs.
