I'm not going to be live blogging, but I'm going to need to keep myself sane during this game as I do some class work. So I'm going to be updating with thoughts as the day goes along. Surely there will be plenty to talk about in this game.
Pre Game
Carl Pavano got an outstanding booing ovation. It's alright Carl, we still like you for now. A couple more weeks though, we might be talking about a different story.
The stadium from the outside is completely different, but the inside looks completely the same with the exception of their older scoreboard is now update.
CC walking out to the mound in white shoes and that ugly pinstripe uniform makes me sick. Or it could be the pizza I just ate for lunch.
Travis Hafner gets the day off again. Guess Wedge still ins't comfortable letting him go full-boar yet.
First Inning
They made CC throw aside the first pitch. Call me a loser if you want, but I think that's extremely stupid. It isn't a sacred cow.
Grady Sizemore didn't bless the palace like Jody Gerut did the new park for the Mets. Oh well.
Victor is coming up and I'm interested to see how he handles CC. Considering he caught him for so many years, he basically knows what CC likes to throw in what situation.
Vic strikes out to end the inning and the Palace Stadium crown acts like he just won the World Series. WAAAAH!! BAAAH!! YEAHHH!! WAAAAH!!!!! YEAAAAAAAAAAH!! YEAHHHH!!!!
They are doing something with the bat that Babe Ruth used... Really let's cut the theatrics now and play the freaking game. I would have let Jeter use the bat in fact.
Derek Jeter won't get the first hit in Yankee Stadium, not yet at least..
That will go to former Boston Red Sox Johnny Damon.. That's hilarious.
Nick Friggin Swisher is hitting cleanup for the Yankees. Normally I'd laugh, but this dude has always killed us and he's on fire right now.
The first inning ends without consequences and I'm going to go do something else... Because well, I've quickly released if I continue this, I'll do it for the whole game.. I'll be back later.
