Here's a running list of injury updates around the Major Leagues: – Yoenis Cespedes was scratched from yesterday's game due to a hand injury and will have a MRI and X-rays today. According to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle there's no official word regarding Cespedes' hand, but the team is hopeful it's not significant. The outfielder – Left Handed pitcher Chris Sale will undergo a MRI exam to check his sore elbow according to White Sox's pitching coach Don Cooper (via Jim Bowden of ESPNXM). – Sergio Santos is on his way to Florida to begin his rehab from a shoulder injury according to Gregor Chisholm of MLB.com. Santos was re-evaluated by Dr. Lewis Yocum and received “a clean bill of health to resume throwing,” adds Chisholm. – Indians outfielder Grady Sizemore is still recovering from a back surgery and according to Jordan Bastian of MLB.com Sizemore is aiming for a June return. “We're still shooting probably for some time in June,” Sizemore said. “We'll go from there. I don't know if anything is set in stone yet. It all depends on just how the body responds and where I'm at with each progression.” Image by Keith Allison under the Creative Commons License Agreement.
