Paolo Espino had a great start, finishing with a line of 6 IP, 4 H, 0 ER, 2 BB, 2 K to bring his season ERA to 4.50. Connor Cooke was the first out of the bullpen, striking out a batter in two thirds of an inning, with Mason Fluharty finishing that inning with a strikeout and a walk. Luis Quiñones pitched an inning with a walk and a strikeout, while Paxton Schultz walked and struck out two in his inning.

New Hampshire lost the series finale

With a 5-3 loss to the Harrisburg Senators on Sunday, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats’ record now sits at 13-19, the worst in the Eastern League Northeast division.

Michael Turconi had the Fisher Cats’ only extra-base hit, his fourth double of the season. He also had a three-hit game, while Riley Tirotta also had a multi-hit performance. Other players with a hit were Josh Kasevich, Devonte Brown, and Alan Roden , who slid further down the lineup as he was batting fifth.

Michael Domignuez had the start for the Fisher Cats, going 5.2 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 3 K with a home run given up, narrowly missing out on a quality start. Hunter Gregory pitched an inning and a third and struck out the four batters he faced. Left-handed reliever Ian Churchill was tagged with the loss, giving up three earned runs in a third of an inning, while Jimmy Burnette struck out two in his inning of work.

Vancouver fell to .500 again

After winning on Saturday afternoon, the Vancouver Canadians fell to the Everett AquaSox 4-3 to bring their season record to 15-15.

Despite the loss, the Canadians finished with 11 hits, with Jace Bohrofen hitting two doubles, while Jaden Rudd and Jackson Hornung each hit one double. Moreover, Brennan Orf hit his second triple of the season. Bohrofen had a three-hit performance, while Rudd and Hornung each had two hits, with Ryan McCarty, Nick Goodwin, and Glenn Santiago all hitting a single.

Lazaro Estrada made his second ever High-A start, finishing with a line of 4 IP, 6 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 7 K to bring his season ERA to 2.57. Josh Mollerus was tagged with the loss, giving up two earned runs and two walks in two thirds of an inning pitched. Rafael Ohashi has yet to give up an earned run this season, as he walked two and struck out two in his inning and a third of work.

Justin Kelly gave up three hits and an earned run in two innings of work, while Carson Pierce made his High-A debut and struck out two in an inning of work.

Dunedin wins season finale

With a 4-3 win over the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels, the Dunedin Blue Jays improved their record to 14-19, which is fourth best in the Florida State League West division.

Notably, Arjun Nimmala hit his third professional home run of his career to give the D-Jays an early 2-0 lead. On top of that, Manuel Beltre hit his second home run of the season as well. The other extra–base hit belonged to Edward Duran, who had three hits with a double.

Other players with a multi-hit performance were Nimmala and Bryce Arnold , while Daniel Pérez and Yhoangel Aponte also had singles.

Gage Stanifer had his best Single-A start, finishing with a line of 3 IP, 3 H, 0 ER, 2 BB, 3 K, while Juanmi Vasquez made his Single-A debut, giving up four hits and a walk but pitching three scoreless innings. Eliander Alcalde was tagged with a blown save, giving up three earned runs in an inning.

However, Sebastian Espino registered his first professional win, striking out two batters in an inning and a third, while J.J. Sanchez struck out the only batter he faced.
