When the Pirates DFA'd Jack Taschner last week, I expected that he would clear through waivers and would pick up some innings in AAA-Indianapolis. I fully expected him to be in the Majors, though, at some other point during this season.Turns out that will not be the case as Taschner told his hometown paper that he has declined the Pirates' offer to report to AAA and will have to be either traded, placed on waivers, or released.
