After seeking a second opinion from Doctor Lewis Yocum and apparently seeking a third opinion from the famous Doctor James Andrews early next week, St. Louis Cardinals left-handed starter Jaime Garcia will rest for four weeks before resuming a throwing program that hopes to return Garcia to the Cardinals ailing rotation later this season
Garcia was placed on the disabled list earlier this week after suffering through a terrible two inning performance against the Houston Astros on Tuesday night.
Garcia had missed his previous start before the Houston debacle on Tuesday night with elbow soreness, but it now looks as though it is Garcia's shoulder that has flared up and is now causing issues and his ineffectiveness.
According to reports and the Cardinals, it is not believed that Garcia will require surgery ...
