Jake Peavy’s recent pitching struggles didn’t take away from the fact that he had many good friends on the Boston Red Sox. Even before being traded, Peavy called his love for Boston “unbreakable.” A few of his teammates expressed how they would be losing a friend after he was traded to the San Francisco Giants on Saturday for two pitching prospects. “He’s such a great friend,” first baseman Mike Napoli said. “Coming over last year, he fit in so well, it was like he was here the whole year.
