Marlins acquire RHP Bradley Blalock from Rockies

The Miami Marlins acquired right-hander Bradley Blalock from the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday in exchange for minor league pitcher Jake Brooks. Blalock was designated for assignment to make room on the roster for righty Michael Lorenzen, who agreed to a one-year, $8 million contract with the Rockies last week.
