Apparently Jay-Z has gotten bored with being a part owner of the Brooklyn Nets and decided that he needed another sporting endeavor.  It’s unclear whether he himself will be a Sports Agent, or if he is merely the owner of the Agency, but he has already snagged a big client. I was surprised to see that New York Yankees 2nd baseman Robinson Cano fired his super agent Scott Boras to go with a new agency, hopefully Cano knows what he is doing. Jay-Z seems to have a plan in mind: Roc Nation, an entertainment company founded by Shawn Carter, also known as Jay-Z, will announce on Tuesday that it is getting into the sports representation business through a partnership with Creative Artists Agency (CAA). The company, which will be known as Roc Nation Sports, has signed its first client, the New York Yankees‘ Robinson Cano.
