Brewers outfielder Jeremy Reed, who was designated for assignment a couple of days ago, has cleared waivers reports Tom Haudricourt of the Journal Sentinel. Reed was outrighted to Triple-A Nashville.

Reed, 29, played in seven games with the Brewers this season but did not get on base nor did he get a hit.  He's a lifetime .252/.309...
