Found August 06, 2010 on Blue Jays Rant:
Jesse Litsch has been placed on the 15-day DL by the Toronto Blue Jays as a result of a labral tear in his right hip.  The injury will require surgery, which will require approximately 6months to heal. The 25-year-old Florida native has not been able to get into the groove this season, amassing a 1-5 record with a 5.79 era in his first nine starts this year. This will be the second major surgery for the young pitcher, who had only recently returned from a 2009 Tommy John surgery. The Blue Jays may have just improved with the Litsch injury, as they will recall pitcher Brad Mills from Triple-A Las Vegas to start on Saturday. For Jays fans who missed Mills only start this season, and his career debut at that, Brad tossed seven scoreless innings for the win against the Baltimore Orioles.
