M.L.B. suspending Indians pitcher Ubaldo Jemenez for five games is crazy. Doesn’t M.L.B. pay any attention to what’s going on? Ever since Jimenez was traded to the Cleveland Indians he has suffered control problems. Jimenez is not the pitcher that can pin point the pitch and hit a guy on the elbow at will. If he could do that he wouldn’t be having so many problems when he is pitching for the Cleveland Indians. Jimenez has had streaks of good pitching but has never really found the control he may have once had. There have been plenty of occasions when Ubaldo has been wild. As a matter of fact he was wild in the game when he hit Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki. MLB has to be trying to catch up to the NFL, why suspend a guy who has a history of throwing some wild pitches when he even said he didn’t hit the guy purposely. Troy Tulowitzki even started to challenge Jimenez after he was beaned with the pitch. Where is his suspension? Look at the performance Jimenez had Sunday, he had f...

Ubaldo Jimenez Suspended Five Games

The feud between Ubaldo Jimenez and Troy Tulowitzki reached a tipping point this past weekend. After an off-season in which the two took shots at each other through the media, Jimenez hit Tulowitzki with a fastball during a Spring Training game and nearly caused a brawl. While no one was ejected during the game, Bud Selig — who was there — took matters into his own hands. After...

Jim Tracy's Assessment of Ubaldo Jimenez Warranted After Hurler's Bush League Antics

Colorado Rockies manager Jim Tracy has forgotten more baseball than most of us have seen. He's a baseball lifer whose job is to impart baseball knowledge on men who get paid truck loads of money to play the game. So when Tracy gives his opinion on something in the game, it would be smart to listen. And it's tough to disagree with anything the 56-year-old baseball man said...

5 keys to the Cleveland Indians season

Follow @ClevelandDTR By: Eric Grinnell So this has turned out to be the busiest school week of the year for me, so unfortunately I won’t be able to do a Full blown Season Preview this week. I should have one done by next week though. But I didn’t want to let Opening Day pass without writing a little something about the Tribe. So I thought I’d write a quick piece on what...
