I really wanted the Yankees to sweep this series. I wanted the Yankees to tramp the dirt down, put the nail in the coffin, and destroy the Red Sox's season. A.J. Burnett did his part in the first game to smash the Sox. But alas, thanks to Joe Girardi and Scott Proctor, Boston gets to live again, with a huge victory that could be a momentum-changer to their season. If the Yanks face the Red Sox in the ALCS and lose, I will rue tonight even more, as the Yankees should have won this game.I subscribe to the Conan the Barbarian belief that what is best in life is to crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women.   • i go back to 1948. i can~t complain for i thought we were going nowhere. well suprise surprise we a a a great team which can only be attributed to joe & brian, the latter i don!t like butwhenyou win the div with what you have,what can you say. proctor, the got vrid of him before who resigned him ?of course cashman.you can knit pick but no mitri and sen proctor away
