The ninth innings of Friday's Red Sox-Rays game was full of madness and plenty of drama. After a pair of beanballs were exchanged from each side, the benches cleared and an all-out melee ensued. Well, Rays' manager Joe Maddon apparently was furious with Boston's behavior in the incident. • If I wanted to watch children fight, the elementary playground is two blocks away. It's free and not one of them gets paid millions to do it. Grow up and play ball. The fans are the ones who pay your 'allowances'...so earn it!

Everyone of you should be fined SO HEAVILY that the Red Sox and Rays fiasco sends a message to the other MLB teams, "Daddy and Mommy have grounded you for the season"!

Hey Commish, as for Joe Maddon, take him off the bench and sit him in front of a television watching his team. Let us not forget 1919 and how a heavy sledge hammer saved the game's future.

If Pete can receive a lifetime ban from the Hall of Fame, for incidents which should be considered misdemeanors, why allow these stooopid felonies to fall to the wayside?

People in power...you had better do as Barney Fife liked to say, "Nip it in the bud!"

It has become a cancer and this fan is waiting for the NFL to get underway, anyway. At least the 'action' is more controlled and disciplined.

Remember, watching or going to the game is a pleasure...not a plethora of whiney millionaire brats.

    You are very welcome!
