Manager John Farrell and the Red Sox figure to have many changes in Boston this season, so this year’s Hot Stove Cool Music Baseball Roundtable event at Fenway Park should be quite interesting. Farrell will join Red Sox general manager Ben Cherington, assistant GM Mike Hazen, Orioles skipper Buck Showalter, Cubs president Theo Epstein and Hall of Fame baseball writer Peter Gammons on Friday, Jan. 11, for a roundtable discussion centered on the topic of “Changing a Clubhouse Culture.” The event, which will take place from 6 p.m.-8 p.m., will be moderated by Gammons, and will give the audience an opportunity to ask the expert panel questions. “I am once again excited to join this year’s distinguished panel to talk about changing a clubhouse culture in baseball. The panel’s expertise and knowledge will provide fans an in-depth look behind the scenes,” Gammons said in a press release. “I’m appreciative of everyone’s continued involvement and support of Hot Stove Cool Music and The Foundation To Be Named Later. This year’s roundtable will surely lend itself to a great discussion for a very worthy cause.” Tickets to Friday’s roundtable event are $125, and can be purchased at FoundationToBeNamedLater.org. The roundtable event is in addition to the annual Hot Stove Cool Music concert, which will take place on Saturday, Jan. 12, at Paradise Rock Club in Boston from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Actor Mike O’Malley and two-time Grammy nominee Tanya Donelly are among those scheduled to attend. Proceeds benefit the Foundation’s Peter Gammons College Scholarships and nonprofit beneficiaries including BELL (Building Educated Leaders for Life), Citizen Schools, City Year Boston, The Home for Little Wanderers, Horizons for Homeless Children, Roxbury Youthworks, Steps to Success and West End House Boys & Girls Club.
