Josh Johnson was thrown-in against a hot St. Louis Cardinals team Thursday afternoon on Cinco de Mayo and did not fair well losing 6-3. A Lance Berkman lifted the Cardinals with an eighth inning three-run home run totaling to Berkman’s four RBIs on the series. The blast came off of Mike Dunn which gave Josh Johnson his first loss of the season to move him to 3-1 on the season. Johnson went 7 1/3 innings giving up five runs and inflating his ERA to 1.68. Omar Infante was the key player on offense going 2-for-3 with two RBI and a double to his name. The Marlins now drop to 19-11 and have a series with the Nationals coming up on Friday.
