Bad news coming from the Marlins Saturday afternoon as ace pitcher Josh Johnson was placed on the 15-day disabled list after Johnson confessed that his shoulder did hurt. Johnson went to the DL with inflammation in his throwing shoulder. Johnson’s shoulder has been hurting him all season even though he leads the majors with a 1.64 ERA. The good news is that Johnson may only miss two starts and could be back as early as June 1. Jay Buente has been called up from Triple-A New Orleans to replace Johnson on Sunday.
