Your browser does not support iframes. Cleveland Indians pitcher Justin Masterson was quite the professional as he conducted an in-game interview while being showered with sunflower seeds and water by teammates during Monday's game at Progressive Field. It happened in the bottom of the second inning as Masterson was being asked about the success of the Indians pitching staff this year, having pitched 14 shutouts as a team. Masterson kept his focus on the questions asked despite his teammates messing with him throughout the interview. Video via MLB. Visit us at holdoutsports.com and follow us on Twitter @HoldoutSports.

Carlos Moncrief: Cleveland’s most surprising 2013 prospect

Akron Aeros outfielder Carlos Moncrief is not your typical prospect. At 24 years old, he’s a bit more, well, mature than the average Double-A Eastern League player. He’s listed as 6-foot and 219-lbs, which both seem to be moderately generous. And as a former pitcher, he doesn’t have quite that much professional experience as a batter. But the Cleveland Indians can no longer...

A three year Indians review: Catcher

Now it's time for the fifth part in this series where I hope to show just what a crazy talent Carlos Santana has become. I know a lot of people see the batting average and bad defense and think he is just an average player, but any team in baseball would love to have him. There  is no doubt that he is a top five player at his position. For references, here are links to the...
