An old dog is learning some new tricks in Miami. The Miami Marlins and Kayem foods have announced a multi-year sponsorship and licensing agreement, allowing Kayem to manufacture and distribute Kayem sausage and hot dogs at Marlins Park. The agreement also establishes Kayem as the Official Brand of Franks and Sausage of the Miami Marlins.
"We're excited to partner with a revitalized Marlins team and add our distinct flavor to the fan experience at Marlins Park. Floridians have really embraced our top-quality franks and sausage," said Bob Kufferman, Kayem Senior Brand Manager. "Available at the new Park or at your local market, you can enjoy Kayem wherever you are watching the ball game or at your next family cookout."
Kayem is doing its best to monopolize the Florida sports market, having previously signed sponsorship deals with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Tampa Bay Lightning, Tampa Bay Rays, and the Florida State Seminoles. The all-beef hot dogs can also be found at various retail outlets throughout the state of Florida,
"We are proud to introduce our fans to the Kayem brand this baseball season," said Brendan Cunningham, SVP of Corporate Partnerships, Miami Marlins. "It's all about offering our fans the best baseball experience and we are confident Kayem products will help deliver that promise."
A New England based company, Kayem also serves as the official hot dog of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots and has been processing meat products since 1909. More information on the company can be found on the Kayem website.
