  • I love the game of baseball but have to admit I'm sick and tired of these Bullshiit bench clearing brawls. Baseball players need to act like men for a change and not an unruly mob. Why do the dugouts and bullpens have to empty because a batter got hit by a pitch? Face it, your eventually gonna get plunked if you play the game long enough, take your medicine like a man and just take your base. Make the pitcher pay by touching home plate. In basketball if you come off the bench you are suspended and fined. In football you can't come off the sidelines to join a scrum on the field. Now the best way to handle it is the way hockey does it. Two guys wanna fight, noooo problem. They square of one on one and the fists fly. They sit in te penalty box for 5 minutes and that's the end of it. Just imagine if baseball passed this rule. You can't leave the dugout or bullpen or your fined HEAVILY and suspended for say 10 games, maybe 20 or 25. That will make these clowns stay put when a batter feels he has to charge the mound. Now these two will have to ACTUALLY fight one another instead of the ridiculous melee that ensues everytime their is a fight in baseball. You'll probably find that most of these guys won't even want to charge the mound because they may get embarassed if they get their butt kicked. I'm sick of seeing a bunch of grown men pushing and shoving each other, over what!!?? Poor baby got hit by a pitch, grow up you clowns, you have no idea just how ridiculous you look out there clutching and grabbing one another. I mean you NEVER really see what amounts to an actual fight anyway, it's a joke.
