Lance Berkman doesn't like to bite his tongue and many enjoy that aspect of the opinionated Texas Rangers designated hitter. However, many can easily become annoyed by Berkman's words.
After reading Berkman's comments from Monday, it's unlikely that he's going to win over any Chicago Cubs fans.
The Rangers begin a three-game series against the Cubs at Wrigley Field on Tuesday. Wrigley Field is the second oldest ballpark in Major League Baseball and the Cubs and the city of Chicago have recently agreed on 500 million worth of improvements.
But that doesn't seem to impress Berkman.
"If they're looking for a guy to push the button when they blow the place up, I'll do it," Berkman said of Wrigley Field, according to Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
Berkman added: "Chicago's one of the worst places in baseball really for anything," he said.
